Cleaning The Outdoor Unit
Generally, the outdoor unit faces more dust and dirt in comparison to the indoor unit. So, you may need to put some extra effort in that.
Components you need
Step 1: Unplugging
In AC cleaning and the cleaning process of any of the electrical appliances, you should first turn the switch off and unplug the machine.
So, here also, you should do the same.
Step 2: Remove the Grill
To remove the grill, you need a proper screwdriver. Before removing the grille, you have to remove the top panel.
The top panel will also have screws. You have to remove them and pull the board out.
Ensure that you keep the screws at a secured place as you will need them again to fix your machine again.
Now, after removing the top panel, you have to remove the screws of the grille. It generally consists of four screws.
Now discharge the grille and keep it aside. You will also get a front panel or filter after removing the grille.
Keep the grille and front panel aside.
Step 3: Cleaning The Debris off the Filter
In this section, you have to notice whether your AC model has a filter or not.
If you have a filter, the cleaning process will be easy, as the filter will prevent all the dirt from entering deep.
If there is a filter, remove that and clean it with normal water. Or you can use a wet or dry vacuum cleaner.
Step 4: Cleaning the Inside Area
After removing the filter, you will enter the inside part. If there is no filter, you will see the inside part after removing the grille and front panel itself.
You can clean this section with the help of a vacuum cleaner. Try to vacuum every nook and corner to remove all the debris altogether.
Step 5: Cleaning the Fins and Coil
These two components are really delicate, so you may need to measure some safety. To clean this part, you have to use the no-rinse-coil-cleaner.
It will keep the electronic parts safe. You have to spray the no-rinse-cleanser in a zigzag direction. The spray will evaporate automatically and clean the parts.
Step 6: Cleaning the Outer Parts
Clean the parts you have removed, like the upper panel and grille. To clean them you can use regular water.
After the cleaning, leave them to dry.
Also, clean the other outer areas with water soaked cloth. Make sure to drench the water properly.

Step 7: Reassembling
When the separated parts are completely dried, reassemble them one by one. And now you are done enjoying the excellent air conditioning.

Step 2: Removing the Dust Filter
Once you open the blower unit, you will see dust filters right in front of you. Now remove them carefully and clean them under running tap water.
They are very easy to clean. You can use a soft brush as well. Now after cleaning, let them dry properly.
Step 3: Cleaning the Evaporator Coils
When you open the dust filters, you will notice a small door. Now you have to open that using the correct type of screwdriver.
After opening the door, you will see the evaporator coil. This is a really delicate part, so if you think that you do not trust yourself to use a cloth or brush to remove the debris, you can use the no-rinse-coil cleanse.
